HPO (High Performance Optimization 1.0

HPO (High Performance Optimization) is production planning and cutting optimization software developed by Schelling Anlagenbau GmbH, A-6858 Schwarzach, Austria (Europe). Built for panel-sizing environments, it calculates material-efficient cutting patterns, sequences jobs to maximize throughput and machine utilization, and supports everything from batch size 1 to high-volume production. Designed to work seamlessly with Schelling panel saws and handling systems, HPO can also interface with upstream ERP/MES solutions to keep orders, inventory, and labeling synchronized. It respects material constraints such as grain direction and trim, manages recuts and remnants, and offers what-if simulations, reporting, and traceability to help reduce waste, shorten lead times, and stabilize costs across woodworking, plastics, and composite processing.
